MLB Playoff and World Series Odds Posted at
Online Sportsbook Casinos
Major League Baseball is coming to an end after one of the most spectacular
closing weeks of the regular season. The playoffs came down to the wire
for several teams - and it's now anyone's guess as to who will win the 2005
World Series. As far as current odds being posted by online casinos and
sportsbooks go, the St. Louis Cardinals, representing the National League, are
dead even with the New York Yankees from the American side.
The odds for both teams to win the World Series at this point are 3 to 1,
with several teams running close behind. In the American League, the race
for making it to the World Series is extremely close, with the Yankees at 8 to 5
and Boston and Los Angeles both tied at 3 to 1. The Chicago White Sox, who
had one of the best winning records of both leagues, actually hit a slump near
the end of regular season, which is probably why their odds are now coming in at
9 to 2.
The final bid for the National League is expected to be between the Cardinals
(1:1) and the Houston Astros (3:1). As usual, the Atlanta Braves are in
the running - But the big bet would be on the San Diego Padres, whose odds would
make a great payoff at 25 to 1. Place your bets now if you want to get the
odds in their current positions, for they will undoubtedly fluctuate as the
games start back up. The best online casinos and leading online
sportsbooks are taking bets across the boards as you read this now.
This year's MLB Playoffs and World Series promises to be one of the loudest
ever, with four of the nation's biggest cities being represented. The
crowds and bets are expected to come out for this one, so get ready to see some
great games from the flat screen - and if you are real lucky, maybe in person.
