Interactive Gaming Council Conducts e-Cash
Survey
Considering that online gambling accounts for one of the largest
portions of total e-commerce on the internet each year, it should be no
surprise the Interactive Gaming Council is conducting an online survey
to shed some light on consumer confidence in the online market.
The survey is not specifically catered to online gamblers, but to all
consumers who have made internet purchases at one time or another.
Originally created by an Australian professor, Rohan Miller, the
survey seeks to identify exactly what consumers like and dislike about
making online purchases. Ultimately, the survey will help to
pinpoint what scares consumers, and keeps them from using e-commerce.
Interactive Gaming Council Executive Director, Rick Smith, stated
that it was important for online casino operators and e-cash processors
in general to understand how imperative it is to develop a consumers
trust when processing their funds. Only by finding new ways to
encourage this trust (which the survey aims to find out) can the
consumer confidence bar be risen.
The survey is open to anyone who is of age to make online purchases.
It takes no longer than ten minutes to complete, submit, and ultimately
help the IGC and the online gambling industry find new ways to encourage
e-commerce.
