Crypto Logic Software Firm Designates New CFO

CryptoLogic, one of the internet's pioneers of gambling software, and one of the first companies to develop a complete e-cash solutions platform for online casinos, is making some changes in its executive lineup.  The company just announced that it has appointed a new Chief Financial Officer, a position previously managed by interim officer Jenifer Cua, who will now become VP Treasurer.

Taking the honors for filling the vacant CFO seat is Stephen Taylor, a twenty-year veteran of the financial world who has been in the ranks of several major companies, including Price Waterhouse Coopers and Ernst and Young.  No doubt he became familiar with CryptoLogic while doing the books at Price Waterhouse Coopers, which has long been the third party auditor of Cryptologic software licensees in determining game fairness standards and monthly payout percentages.

Cryptologic Chief Executive Officer and President, Lewis Rose had very nice things to say about Mr. Taylor, including how his leadership persona and financial abilities fit in nicely with CryptoLogic's company vision.  He also commented how tough the role of Chief Financial Officer for any large company has become these days, and that he is confident Taylor will strongly serve in his position to help guide CryptoLogic as it expands its reach into worldwide markets.
