Absolute Poker is one of the newest poker sites on the internet. I had spent a lot of time playing there, won some free money and worked it to over $500. About three months afterwards I tried to find out the process of withdrawing by Neteller. It took me about 7 emails to get an answer. I had to deposit first and than withdraw and I could take out all but the bonus money (which is common and acceptable). Later I tried to withdraw and than they renigged. They would not let me withdraw any money for one month. I emailed them back and showed them the previous emails, but they would not honor them and said that the first person was mistaken. Their customer support before this had been good, and so I understand that sometimes communication lines get crossed. I was able to withdraw all of my winning though, which would have been bad otherwise.

Having gone over that, the site is a bit above average. The software is okay if a little bulky and slow. They have recently updated all of their graphics and it's a bit hit and miss. The lobby is nicer but the tables are a matter of taste. Check out the pictures above to decide for yourself.

I will say there is one reason to play there - the players are really bad. They have what are probably the worst players of any poker site. However, there isn't a lot of play on the site with maybe 10 to 15 tables going at a time and most of the play is on the lower limits - $1/2 and below. However, Absolute has come a long way and now offers an extensive selection of promotions, including several $10,000 tournaments - at least once a week.
