Pacific Poker is relatively new but they are owned by the same company as Casino On Net, the oldest online casino. Because of this, you can be sure that they are pretty safe to play at and they will be around. They have a few really great things and a couple of shortcomings.

The best thing about Pacific Poker is that they have a lot of players and the players aren't very good. Many of them seem to come straight from Casino On Net and view poker the same way they view slot machines. All the way up to their highest tables, $15/30, you will see a lot of players in every hand and a fair amount who don't like to fold before the river. It can be tough when you are losing and watching but when you win a few hands, you can really win a lot of money very quickly.

On the down side, the software isn't great and they don't have no limit or pot limit games. The game can be a little sluggish at times and it takes a decent computer to run it well also. As noted above, they don't have any no limit games, so if that's what you are looking for you should go elsewhere.

In summary, for poker players who like to play fix limit, it is a dream. They have a lot of players, very loose games up to $15/30 and they offer the security of being owned by one of the biggest online casinos. On the other hand, if you aren't interested in playing fixed limit games it might not be the place for you but I highly suggest that you give Pacific a try if you are interested - you simply won't find more profitable games anywhere.
